New architectual lighting
control system
The new OKERO OLC lighting control system consists of
a series of modular units designed to facilitate planning,
installation and use. The comprehensive range includes
dimmer modules, relay modules, back-up modules, control
panels, distribution units and control systems.
The OLC system makes integration of complex lighting
systems easy.
New face at
OKERO
Thom Elvinsson has been appointed
OLC sales manager, Sweden. Thom has many years of expertice
from working in this market segment. He will be responsible
for the OKERO OLC sales in Sweden and will coordinate

New projects
Stockholms Stadsteater, the
municipal theatre in Stockholm has choosen dimmers from
OKERO for the modernisation of their main stage. The total
number of dimmer circuits supplied will be close to 800
divided between 13A and 25A units. The delivery also includes
an OKERO DMX exchange unit and a back-up system for rehearsal
light. Everything to be installed by the beginning of
this summer.
Just finished
Dramatiska Institutet
The Dramatiska Institutet in Stockholm has just moved
into a brand new building at Valhallavägen, with
modern studios for theate, film and TV. OKERO delivered
the dimmer systems for all studios, a total of 372 circuits.
Plus the multi cable system.
Mimers Hus, Kungälv
Mimers Hus is a true multi purpose building housing exhibition
hall, library, high school and a 341 seat theatre. OKERO
installed the stage and house lighting systems with 200
dimmer circuits, DMX and OLC-control. Ten lighting presets
can be saved on a control panel for stage lighting and
ten presets for house lighting.
Brew House, Göteborg
Apotekarnes, the old 6400 sqm water bottling plant in
the Gårda part of Gothenburg has been converted
into a busy production centre for music and film. The
premises presently house 20 music companies and 13 film
companies. For control of the architectural lighting system
they chose the OKERO OLC system.
Lorensbergsteatern
After the reconstruction of the Lorensbergsteatern in
Gothenburg, the theatere has been equipped with an OKERO
OLC system for control of foyer- and house lights.
Agder Teater i Kristiansand
ELPAG, OKERO's distributor in Norway, has
installed a dimmer system with 130 channels for stage
and house lighting control at the Agder Theatre in Kristiansand.
House lighting is DMX controlled from an OLC system. In
addition, the Agder Theatre chose four OKERO 619 12-channel
dimmers for touring.
Kulturhuset i Asker
OKERO dimmers are now to be found also in the new Kulturhuset
in Asker, Norway. OKERO supplied and ELPAG installed stage-
and houselight dimmers for two stages. In all 193 dimmer
channels.
Control
everything with DMX
OKERO introduces
a whole series of DMX products
OKERO is now releasing a completely new range of
products to be controlled via the DMX512 digital
protocol. This series comprises of sa large number
of dimmers, relay boxes etc that can be controlled
directly via DMX. All products can be addressed
from 0 to 512.
OMBsetup, PC
based configuration software
OMBsetup is a newly developed configuration software
developed by OKERO for the OMBmega and OMBmini control
systems. The program is intuitive and PC based and
will be delivered with the control systems. Check

Dimmer for both
Delta and Y supply
OKERO 619D is a new version of
the standard OKERO 619 rack-mount dimmer. It is designed
to operate on either one of the two electrical distribution
systems in Norway, Delta and Y. It is equipped with double
pole breakers and can be switched between 230V Delta and
400V Y operation. Switching between these distribution
systems is made by changing power connection cable. Power
inlet is a 6-pin 35A multi connector. This provides a
completely safe way of change between the 230V Delta and
400V Y systems. The power supply cable for 230V Delta
comes with a blue 32A connector and for 400V Y with a
red 32A connector.

2004-05
OKERO's OLC system installed at the Facklan cinema complex
in Kungälv. RGB colour mixing allows setting house
lighting to an almost infinite number of colours to
accentuate mood of the film in each of the three cinemas.

Dimmer with inexpensive multicore
cable solution
CEE-16 is a new version in the OKERO 2401 range of
24 channel touring dimmers. Unique about this version
is that three dimmer channels are connected to each
CEE connector, allowing industry standard CEE cables
and splitters to be used for a very inexpensive multicore
cable system. The first systems were delivered to the
Stockholm Stadsteater.
